Author Interview
INTERVIEW WITH S.F.
When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
I don’t think there was a specific moment when I realized I wanted to be a writer. My first attempt at writing was just after high school, but I wasn’t set on being a writer then. After a few false starts, I finally did publish the first edition of the novella in 2019. Then, I pulled it, expanded it and had it reedited, republished it earlier this year.
Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?
I get my ideas from literally everywhere. I love to watch TV crime shows and read lots of suspense, thrillers, crime fiction. They always give me inspiration. I do a lot of research online and on Facebook special writers groups like trauma fiction & legal fiction groups.
What do you like to do when you’re not writing?
When I’m not writing, I read, or binge watch crime TV shows. Sometimes, I like doing puzzles.
What do you think makes a good story?
I think a good story is one that keeps readers entertained and, in my genre, keep them guessing and on the edge of their seats.
What project are you working on now and how do we find your books?
I’m working on book 3 of my series. Readers can find my books on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kobo Plus, Apple, other online retailers and my website.
