Why Cats and Bible Quotes?
Why Cats and Bible Quotes? A Reflection on Faith, Felines & Writing
Hello, dear readers!
If you follow me on social media, you've probably noticed a recurring theme: cats and Bible quotes. You might be wondering why my Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest are filled with adorable felines paired with Scripture. Well, let me share a bit about my journey.
As a Catholic Christian, I firmly believe that God has guided me through my writing endeavors. The Holy Spirit's promptings have been a constant source of inspiration, helping me publish my stories and stay true to my path. While I don't write strict Christian fiction, my suspense thrillers are infused with characters who have a strong Christian faith. They pray for guidance, seek help in times of trouble, and embody themes of hope, redemption, and forgiveness.
So, why do I post all these cat photos with Scripture quotes? Simply put, I like to remind myself and my followers not to lose faith. These images are a gentle nudge to hold on to hope, even in challenging times.
My stories might not have Bible quotes or sermons, but they are rich with Christian values. If you enjoy suspenseful thrillers that keep you guessing until the end, but without the gore and foul language, you might want to check out my Mirror Estate series.
For those of you with a Kindle Unlimited subscription, you can read the latest installment, Tangled Secrets, for free! And if you prefer physical books, print editions are available in my store and at your favorite online retailers.
The series is best enjoyed in order: Buried Secrets, Living Secrets, Forgotten Secrets, and Tangled Secrets. If you pick up just one and feel a bit lost, don't worry! You can download recaps for each book under the Freebies section on my website.
Speaking of freebies, there’s a treasure trove of interesting content available under Freebies on my website. So, why not explore and see what you can find?
Thank you for joining me on this journey. May your days be filled with hope, redemption, and perhaps a bit of feline charm.
Blessings,
S.F. Baumgartner
