Hauntfest at Harbor’s Hope is out today! The second book in the A Coastal Fresh Start Romance series brings Cass Whitley and Detective Jeff Harker together among autumn lanterns, a masquerade, and a family mystery tied to an old boathouse.
Cass is leading the lantern route, and Jeff is the detective who once dismissed her. That history gives them something to work through as the story unfolds. The old boathouse adds a family mystery to a setting where there’s already plenty going on.
If this is your first visit to Harbor’s Hope, you can start here. Although it’s Book 2 in the series, Hauntfest at Harbor’s Hope is a standalone romance. You don’t need to catch up on an earlier book before meeting Cass and Jeff or following their story.
A few reading details may help you decide whether it belongs on your autumn list. The romance is clean and kisses-only, and there’s a happy ending. Those are useful things to know before opening a book, especially when you’re choosing something for a quieter evening or looking for a romance that fits your reading preferences.
Maybe you’ve had this one on your list for a while, or maybe the title is new to you. Either way, release day is a good time to take a look at the description and see whether Cass and Jeff’s story belongs in your next stretch of reading time.
You’ll find the description on the Hauntfest at Harbor’s Hope book page. The book is also available on Amazon, so you can check the listing and choose how you’d like to read it.
With Halloween just a few days away, there’s still time for an autumn visit to Harbor’s Hope. Welcome to Cass and Jeff’s story!
