What an Honest Review Means to a New Author

When Christmas in July at Harbor’s Hope released in July, I knew Margot and Evan’s story no longer belonged only to me. Readers were opening the book, meeting the people of Harbor’s Hope, and deciding what they thought of this little coastal town.
That is one of the strangest and best parts of publishing a first novel.
Before I became an author, I didn’t realize how much a short, honest review could help a book. Reviews give other readers useful information. They may mention the clean romance, the coastal setting, a favorite character, or simply how the story made them feel.
A review doesn’t have to be long. One or two thoughtful sentences can help someone decide whether Harbor’s Hope sounds like a place they would enjoy visiting.
If you have finished Christmas in July at Harbor’s Hope, I would be grateful if you shared your honest thoughts on Amazon or the reader site you normally use. There is no need to be lengthy.
You can also help by sending the Harbor’s Hope reader link to a friend who enjoys clean, hopeful romance. A personal recommendation often reaches the reader who needs that particular story.

I’m not ready to say too much about the next book yet. I can tell you its title: Hauntfest at Harbor’s Hope.
Book Two will arrive before Halloween. A new romance takes center stage when the town’s autumn celebration refuses to go according to plan.
