Coming Back to Mirror Estate? Find Your Place in the Series

Remember the last Mirror Estate book you read, but aren’t quite sure which one comes next? Start with the title. It’s easier than trying to place a familiar cover or reconstruct the story from a description that might reveal too much.

Bookmark listing the seven Mirror Estate books in reading order, beside a dark estate at dusk.

The current reading order begins with the expanded edition of Buried Secrets: Where It All Begins as Book 1. Here are the seven numbered novels:

  1. Buried Secrets: Where It All Begins
  2. Living Secrets
  3. Forgotten Secret
  4. Tangled Secrets
  5. Hidden Secrets
  6. Shadowed Secret
  7. Stolen Secrets

If you’re returning after a break, find your last completed title on that list. The next numbered novel is the place to look. If you’ve been keeping a reading list, your library history or ebook library can help settle which books you’ve already finished.

You’ll also see short-story collections on the reading-order page. Those are labeled as bonus stories. Shadow Extraction is listed separately as a companion novella. Keep those labels in mind when you’re checking your collection, since they don’t add another number to the seven-novel list.

For someone starting at the beginning, the expanded Buried Secrets is Book 1, and a boxset is available for Books 1–4. For someone returning midway through, there’s no need to turn choosing the next book into another mystery. Match the titles first, then check the numbers.

One practical tip: save the reading-order page or jot down your next title before you close this post. That gives you a useful reference when you’re browsing later, without having to open several book descriptions.

And if you’re introducing a friend to Mirror Estate, send them the same guide. It keeps the novels, bonus stories, and companion novella easy to distinguish, and lets them choose their next read without a plot recap.
