Stolen Secrets & Shadow Extraction

With Stolen Secrets, the Mirror Estate thriller series enters a very different stage.

This is no longer simply about hidden family secrets or isolated conspiracies. The world has expanded. Long-running storylines are colliding. Characters from connected series are beginning to intersect. And the Ghost arc is finally moving toward its endgame.

For readers who enjoy crossover television worlds like One Chicago, FBI, or NCIS, this creative direction probably makes sense.

I’ve always loved interconnected fictional universes where separate investigations and characters occasionally overlap, creating the feeling that everything exists inside one larger world. Eventually, I realized I wanted to bring that same energy into my own thriller fiction.

That influence became especially important while writing Stolen Secrets.

This novel introduces two major villains tied to different layers of the conspiracy. One storyline reaches a resolution within this book. The second will continue into Lethal Design, Book 2 of the KC & Orlando Prime thriller series, further expanding the crossover between the Mirror Estate world and the Orlando Prime investigations.

But there was another challenge.

One of the series’ most beloved characters, Olivia, spends much of Stolen Secrets away on her honeymoon. The more I worked on the novel, the more I realized readers would miss her presence. Honestly, I missed writing her too.

That became the inspiration for Shadow Extraction.

The companion novella follows Olivia during a dangerous mission unfolding alongside the events of Stolen Secrets. While the main novel drives the central Ghost storyline forward, Shadow Extraction reveals another side of the larger conspiracy and allows Olivia to remain part of the unfolding world in a meaningful way.

And the truth is, some of these threads actually begin in another connected series entirely.

For now, though, I’ll have to keep certain secrets hidden.

Stolen Secrets and Shadow Extraction release June 2, and I truly believe this marks the beginning of the end for one of the biggest story arcs I’ve ever written.
